Today we are powered by Chemdawg OG! Strain Review: Chemdawg OG by Fleur de Lise Grown by: Origine Nature | Fleur de Lise TOTAL THC: 34.98 Terps: Caryophyllene, myrcene, limonene, ocimene SUSPECTED Terpinolene lol Packaged on November 21st 2023 I recently got my hands on some Chemdawg OG from Fleur de Lise at BC Cannabis Stores, and let me tell you, it's been a delightful experience from start to finish. Their grower Alexandre beat me last year for Grower of the Year at Grow Up Awards 2023, so I was surprised to see his product at such a low price point. I was pleased to see a packaging date of November 21st, 2023, a huge indication of freshness, and boy, does it deliver on aroma and flavor. Upon opening the bag, the sweet, citrusy floral notes of Chemdawg OG hit me right away, with a hint of what I suspect to be Terpinolene, one of my personal favorites. Clearly this is a freshly packaged bag of bud. The buds themselves were mostly large, with a few smaller ones thrown in, boasting long, intact pistil hairs and a well-executed trim job. Of course the buds had a slight flat side due to the packaging. But they were still beautiful buds and I'd personally take a flat sided bud over an extra few bucks a gram anyday. Nice moisture on the buds too. This is exactly where I like my moisture when selecting cannabis. Not too sticky that it gums up the grinder and trichomes stick to your fingers but sticky enough that it presses together with a slight hold, for the perfect even burn. On the first toke, the terps really shone through, offering a slightly sweet taste on the exhale with a pleasant bitterness, reminiscent of hops or citrus peels. The smoke was incredibly smooth, a crucial factor for me, whether I'm rolling a joint or hitting a bong. Plus, the light grey ash was a testament to its quality burn. Could be lighter, but honestly if I were to have smoked this with my eyes closed I would have guessed it was as light as can be. As for the high, it was just what I needed, brightening up my day with a cerebral buzz and an incredibly subtle body relaxation that didn't weigh me down. It felt bright and happy and I found myself particularly impressed by the focus it provided, making Chemdawg OG an ideal choice when tackling tasks or getting creative. Overall, Chemdawg OG by Fleur de Lise is a strain I'd happily purchase again, offering excellent value for the price. In fact by the time of posting, I’ve already bought another bag. It's the kind of bud I'd be proud to show up to the sesh with. Today she’s leaving my space filled with the pleasant aroma of citrusy, hoppy incense and a buzz that can conquer. A definite win in my book. Chemdawg OG by Fleur de Lise has officially received the DANK stamp of approval. Reviewed by: @Chantal Dorval
