All CBD is not equal. Isolates are very different in effects then full spectrum products and not all full spectrum are equal. This is confusing to my patients until we discuss wine. If you try a Cabernet at winery and then walk across the street to the next their Cabernet will be 100% different. Why? Because the soil is different, the way the sun hits the vines is different and likely the grape is different. When patients understand the wine/cannabis analogy they get it. The difference is that cannabis has medicinal ingredients that all combine and work better together. Studying them in isolation will never give you the true benefits of what you will get as a whole. I have patients with epilepsy switching from isolates to full spectrum. They need half the dose. This is one of the differences between Epiodilex and for example Charlotte’s Web. Or many of the other THC free isolates we have in the medical in Canada. Sure they may work for some people but you will never get the best results. Not all Cabernet is equal… neither are all CBD products. It’s not just about the CBD.
