My wife and I just started playing Pickleball. It's just not a sport of older people anymore and there are a tons on benefits to playing the sport. 1. Improves balance, hand-eye coordination and flexibility - Great for us that sit at a desk most of the day. 2. Improves heart health - Gets the blood pumping and makes you feel better 3. Prevents osteoporosis - Low impact sport and its a great way to get moving 4. Boosts mood and mental health - I love a little competition and allows me to stimulate my brain in a different way. 5. Social connection - Definitely a great way to meet new people in your community and build new relationships. You never know who you will meet.
